Additionally, it is an ecological building material that uses natural material "paper (reinforced paper)" for the finishing material, which does not produce hydrochloric acid gas or dioxins when burned, and does not use the 14 substances identified by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as causes of sick house syndrome, making it a "4VOC compliant product" (according to the self-declaration system for 4VOC emissions by the Printing Industry Association). It is easy to cut, drill, and process on-site, and can also be applied over wallpaper, making it ideal for renovations and refurbishments in commercial facilities, stores, and residences.
